Opener Matt Renshaw has expressed his unhappiness after he was wrongly signalled out by the umpire in the second innings against New South Wal🔜es during a Sheffield Shield game at Canberr🐽a.

Renshaw came out to bat alongside Joe Burns with Queensland trying to chase down 380 runs on the third day of the 10th game of the Sheffield Shield. After the first over by Mitchell Starc, the second one was given to Josh Hazlewood. With Renshaw on strike off the final ball, Hazlewood banged the ball short just outside the off stump and the left-hander wanted to play an uppercut. The ball missed the outside edge by a whisker and went into the gloves ofܫ keeper Peter Nevill.

They all went for an appeal and the umpire also raided his finger ruling the opener out⛄ almost instantly. Renshaw was lef🎃t flustered and didn’t want to leave the crease. He was disgusted with the decision and then walked back with utter disappointment for six off 11 balls. Queensland now requires 329 more runs to win the game with eight wickets in hand.
