Several Karnataka players who are currently playing Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament have allegedly been involved in fixing-related activities in the KPL in August this year. With Ganguly at the 𒈔helm of affairs, it is expected that zero-tolerance policy will be maintained in fixing issues.

The newly 🧸appointed  Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president has confirmed that a player was approached by a bookie during the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament.

"There was an approach made and reported 🔯during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Tournament," Ganguly said after the BCCI's Annual General Meeting on Sunday. It seems like the BCCI will look into the matter once the final cla🐟sh between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu is concluded on Sunday.

There have been instances of serious charges a🥂gainst some players being involved in fixing-scandal in Karnataka Premier League(KPL) that was held from August 16-31 this year. Few players have also been arre𝓰sted under section 420 of the Indian Penal Code after they were accused of taking money from bookies.

The latest player to be investigated in regards to fixing the KPL is none other than the hat trick star Abhimanyu Mithun. Mithun has been asked to appear in f𓂃ront of the court to address this issue.

"We have discussed it. In Chennai, there are a couple of complaints. Players are 🐓approached that is not problem, but what players do after it is the problem. We are dealing with it, because nobody wants it. We are getting in touch with state authority so that there is clarity," Ganguly concluded.
