The match between Welsh Fire and Northern Superchargers🐭 has been called off due to rain in Cardiff. After a toss delay, the game finally began with 25-ball per side as Welsh restricted the Superchargers to 26/5 before the showe🃏rs were back in the 2nd innings and the game was ultimately called off.

After a delay of over two hours due to rainy weather in Cardiff, the encounter between Northern Superchargers and Welsh Fire began. The match was reduced to 25 balls per side as Welsh skipper Tom Abell won the toss and opted to bowl first. The decision worked well straightaway as David Willey managed to scalp Superchargers' opener Matthew Short. The damage further deepened for the hosts when Nicholas Pooran departed cheaply to Matt Henry as Welsh were reeling at 8/2 in 10 deliveries. The Kiwi pacer struck again as he managed to get rid of Harry Brook and the Superchargers looked in deep trouble. The trouble kept compounding as Haris Rauf scalped Adam Hose in the fourth set with the scorecard at 15/4. Ben Stokes’s departure in the same set further dashed the Superchargers batting with half of their side back to the hut. With a biggie🦹 by Oliver George Robinson on the 22nd, the superchargers found some relief. Ultimately, with a brilliant performance from the pacers, the Welsh Fire restricted the visitors to 26/5 in 25 deliveries.

As the Welsh openers Luke Wells and Jonny Bai🤪rstow walked out for the chase, the downpour began slowly. Despite the shower, Ben Stokes began the proceedings for the superchargers bowling two deliveries. As the rain got heavier, the hope further das👍hed for a game. After a brief discussion with the match referee, the on-field umpires called off the game as the players exchanged handshakes after the abandoned game. With the abandonment, the superchargers move to the third spot of the points table while the Welsh Fire remain in the sixth spot.

That's how you start!

There's no game left there!

Called it off!

Really good shot earlier!

Hahaha! Real quicky.

What?

They did!

They are not playing the game now!
