The famous cricket adage "form is temporary, but class is permanent" seemed to reverse for Babar Azam in the first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh. The renowne🍰d batter failed to make🐭 a mark with the bat after getting out for a silver duck on the Rawalpindi Test’s opening day.

Winning the toss and choosing to field following a delayed start due to wet outfield seemed to be the correct decision for Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto. The new ball pair of Hasan Mahmud and Shoriful Islam was at their best with the new ball, as they struck a couple of w📖ickets early by the seventh over. Adding further woes to his team, Babar Azam departed for a silver duck in the ninth over.

The second ball of the ninth over saw Shoriful Islam bowl a good length delivery down the leg stump that seamed inward a bit. Going by instinct, Babar tried to flick at it and in the way got an inside edge en route to the keeper. Litton Das behind the stumps dived full-fledged to his left to complete the catch. The Pakistani batter failed to come into a good position, therefore, ending up on the wrong side of the dismissal. However, the home fans who were cheering for his arrival after the fall of the second wicket silenced in despair. One of the fans wa🌳s spotted peculiarly upset and left the Twitterverse buzzing.

And it continues!

That doesn't matter to fans!
