The English whit🅰e ball captain has not featured for the Red Rosses in the ongoing T20 Blast but is likely to return for🐓 the all-important Quarter Final against Sussex on September 4.
“We should hav♋e everyone fit for the quarter-finals. Jos has been doing a lot of rehab. I've been in contact with him and he's very keen to play. We are happy to leave it down to ওthe last day,” said Dale Benkenstein, coach of Lancashire.
While Phil Salt and Saqib Mahmood were rested for Lancashire’s County Championship encounter a꧑gainst Sussex, they’re likely to return for the Quarter Final. Buttler will have to pass a last fitness ♋test to be available for the knockout game.
"He'll do a fitness test on the Monday, just before the game, and with the England physios and everyone giving him the green light, then he'll play. We are very keen that if he's fit and ready to go then he'll be playing,” added Benkensteꦬin.
