Missed opportunities sometimes pave the way for unexpected triumphs. Such was the case in the Caribbean Premier League clash between Trinbago Knight Riders and Antigua and Barbuda Falcons where Fabian Allen's stunning juggling catch led to the dismissal of Nicholas Pooran for a golden duck.

‌The Caribbean Premier League has provided plenty of excitement for both players and spectators alike. In the eighth match of the tournament, Antigua Falcons faced off against Trinbago Knight Riders, with the latter winning the toss and opting to bowl first. The Falcons were charged by an opening partnership between Fakhar Zaman and Justin Greaves, while Imad Wasim's vital 46 helped guide them to a total of 176/6 in their allotted 20 overs. In reply, Trinbago had a shaky start, losing Sunil Narine early. The situation worsened with Shaqkere Parris' dismissal, followed by Pooran's departure after Allen’s brilliant catch.

On the final delivery of the 10th over, Allen aimed for a yorker but missed the mark, leaving the ball in Pooran’s hitting zone. Pooran launched a powerful shot, but it deflected ofไf Allen’s hand, popping into the air. Quick to react, Allen stretched and managed to secure the catch on the rebound with both hands. The crowd erupted in cheers, while Pooran stood in disbelief at what had just unfolded.

What a Catch!
