‌IND vs BAN | Twitter reacts to Akash Deep’s back-to-back lusty blows leave Shakib scratching his head

The best way to face danger is to counter it with a brave heart. A route, India’s Akash Deep opted after India was losing quick wickets in the third session on the fourth day as his merciless counterattack left🦹 Ba⛎ngladesh veteran Shakib Al Hasan befuddled at the Green Park Stadium, Kanpur.

Eyeing to surmount a 233-run trail, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma blasted off the opposition pacers left, right, and center at the start. Their gung-ho approach led to a quick fifty runs tally in just three overs, the fastest-ever team fifty in Test history. Despite wickets every now and then, a 72-run second-wicket stand between Jaiswal and Shubman Gill followed by a 87-run fifth-wicket stand between Virat Kohli and KL Rahul set up a🦋 lead for India. With the Indian lower order trying to abide by the instruction from the team management, the hosts continued an attacking approach with Akash’s couple of sixes acting as the catalyst.

Having lost the wicket of Ashwin on the third ball of the 34th over, Akash came out to face the remaining three balls of the over. Although he failed to connect anไ away-turner on the fourth ball of the over, he smacked a fuller one at the stumps down the ground for a huge six. With Shakib dropping the length short on the next delivery, Akash rocked back and pulled it over the deep mid wicket region for a gargantuan six. Seeing a No. 9 bಌatter smack him around the park for fun, Shakib was left bewildered as the camera caught him scratching his head seeing a good over turn into a disaster. The Twitterverse closely followed the action and sparked on the particular event.
