For this, the team earlier had an interest in the LOSC Lille striker Jonathan David, but it has also been dropped according to some reports.

There were four players who were named by the team as possiblꦏe successors for Robert Lewandowski: Jonathan David, Erling Haaland, Alexander Isak, and Viktor Gyokeres. But recently Jonathan David has been dropped off from the list as Hansi Flick is not convinced whether he could be able to possibly become the replacement or not.

In the upcoming summer, David's contract with Li🍒lle is coming to an end, and he has scored 101 goals and 23 assists for🍨 the team in 209 matches. Along with that, he was signed in the 2021 summer at a deal of €27 million.
