🌠Cometh the hour, cometh the man -- a saying that has time and again been applied for Travis Head and Jasprit Bumrah in the ongoing Border Gꦡavaskar Trophy, thus setting up an enticing battle on Boxing Day. On this occasion, it was the Indian that took the bragging honours in style to silence the MCG.

Australia got off to the perfect start at MCG in the Boxing Day Test with Sam Konstas and Usman Khawaja putting on an𓄧 89-run opening stand. Things did not work out any better for India as Khawaja and Labuschagn𒀰e added another 65 before the former was dismissed. The incoming Steve Smith looked impervious as the duo added a further 83 runs before Labuschagne took the long walk back to the pavilion.

Travis Head, who had already scored two centuri♉es in the series thus far, stepped in and India immediately brought on their best bowler in the hope of stopping Head. This time it did work out well and how. On the third delivery of the 67th over,  Bumrah bowled a back of a length delivery from around the wicket. The ball landed just outside off stump and Head moved his bat out of the way hoping that the ball would go over the stumps. However, the delivery just seamed in by a smidge and got the top of off stump.

While Bumrah just shouldered his arms, Twi✱tter had more to say about the dismissal.
