Not always you can prove a system wrong that has governed a gigantic ecosystem like that of the cricketing universe. However, English batter Ben Duckett made the current No. 1 ranked T20 bowler toil h𒈔ard by smashing six back-to-ba꧟ck fours during his second BBL game for the Melbourne Stars.

The toss favoured the home side, Sydney Sixers during the initial g🍃ame of the Boxing Day event in the Big Bash League. After Moises Henriques sent the visitors to bat, Ben Duckett got off to a flying start despite losing out on opening partner inside the mandatory powerplay. Following three overs of decent play, the southpaw took on the ICC no. 1 ranked T20 bowler and smashed six consecutive fours in the last over of the mandatory field restrictions

Duckett banged a couple of fours over mid-wicket by rocking back off a short-pitch delivery in the first three balls of the fourth over. Subsequently, he hanged back and cut a widish good length delivery towards backward point for a four. On the fifth ball, 🍸Duckett switched to reverse sweep attempt and middled the fuller delivery nicely to propel the ball towards the deep point region ropes. Having hit five back-to-back fours, the southpaw judged a slower one nicely off Akeal’s hands and lofted it towards the V r🌳egion to make it six successive boundaries in the over. He went on to notch a 22-ball half-century, his first for the Stars.
