Although Dabang Delhi won the game against Puneri Paltan yesterday and their coach Krishan Kumar Hooda praised the defensive unit at the press conference, skipper Joginder Narwal had a rare off day at the office. He got out on four occasions while attempting a tackle and collected only one point in the entire game. However, while addressing the media, the Delhi skipper stated that he pla𝓰ys for the team and individual performance doesn’t matter.
“I never play for🐼 myself or worry about 🍷that aspect. I play for the team. It wouldn’t bother me if I finished with zero points if the team wins,” Joginder was quoted as saying by the PKL website.
On the other hand, despite t𝓡he loss, Puneri Paltan will be a happy team with the return of Nitin Tomar. Tomar played his first game of the season after recovering from injury and managed to bag eight points against Delhi. Tomar explained that he is hopeful of performing well for the team in the upcoming matches of ꦐthe league.
“It was extremely satisfying. I take pride in bei🐷ng able to help the team. I felt good about my performance and I hope we can keep improving and play well in the upcoming games,” Tomar told reporters after the game.
